  1. I thought it was a touching book. Very good, yet very sad. Wilson Rawls is a very good writer. His stories really stand out.

  3. As you all know, I absolutely love this book. I feel that Wilson Rawls captures the love that a person can share with his pets. I also think that his figurative language, especially the similes, bring the story to life. I like how something I have no interest in-hunting-can be brought to life and exciting. Most of all, I love the emotion that he stirs in all readers. I'm glad you have enjoyed it. Oh, and Holly, we will be watching it soon :)
I wonder what you all will think of the movie in comparison to the book. I have my guess--

  10. Ya we did but it wasn't as good as the book, but i still cried because after the dogs died, they showed flashbacks of how muck fun Billy had with his dogs and that's what made it even more sad:(:(:(:(:(:(
