This is currently on my nightstand...I know, I know, it is time to pick it up and read it. You know how they say "Don't judge a book by its cover?" Well, I'm judging. The cover is fine and all--I like beaches and starfish, but I just can't seem to start this one. It did win the Newbery Honor, so I think it is time I give it a try. Here is the book trailer:
